GIVE THANKS

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV)

It is easy to say “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV) but there are times when we would have great difficulty in expressing this because of the way we feel. The feeling that we have rarely is one that’s has been directly caused by God himself but we can very often attribute the feeling to God after all isn’t He in control of everything. God is in control but sometimes we put our selves in situations where we can get hurt by other people and it really has nothing to do with God. We may have opened our selves up to this very thing that is hurting us. Also remember that hurting people hurt people. May be the person that has hurt you is also hurting. Are they crying out for help but do not understand what they have done. Also, remember that He is the vine dresser and He prunes the branch so that it will give more fruit. Sometimes when we get pruned is can be quiet hurtful. If we have done something wrong then we should be able to go to the person and admit that we have done something wrong and ask for forgiveness. If on the other have we are sure that we have done nothing wrong. Then should we not rejoice because we are being persecuted wrongfully. Is that not what happened to Jesus.

When we are hurting who are we looking at/for? Do we look in or are we looking to God and praising Him?

Don’t wallow in the mud but pull yourself above it and praise God.
