COMMIT TO THE LORD

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
I was just wondering as I was reading this verse today if I really do this? Have I committed to the Lord what I am doing? I know that sometimes I manage to do this but I admit that now on a lot of days I fail to commit the things of the day unto the Lord.
Maybe that is the reason why on some days things just seem to be going backward. I admit that there are times when I would say that I am not truly blessed and anointed. Could it be that what I am doing has not been established by the Lord? If it has not been established by the Lord then it will not last, it will be destroyed, consumed by the fire.
I admit that I do not want to work for nothing. I don’t work for nothing in my job. I expect to get paid. Even more so when I think I am doing things for the Lord. I expect that it will be fruitful and multiply. But, how can it if God is not the foundation? You see only that which is built on the right foundation will last and bring forth fruit and much fruit. My foundation has to be built on God and God alone.
If God establishes it then it will prosper because He will make sure that it prospers.
Remember to commit what ever you do to the Lord. Not just the big things but, also the little things. The word says “what ever you do.” Do not neglect the small and what you might call insignificant because your father wants to be a part of it. Small or large.
